Eligibility For Appearing in GATE
- B.E/B.Tech/B.Arch/B.Pharm(Final and prefinal year students can also apply)
- M.Sc (any branch of Science/Maths/ Statistics/Computer
- Applications) or equivalent. (Final or prefinal year students can also apply)
- Candidates in the second or higher year of the four year integrated Master's degree programme (Post B.Sc) in Engineering/ Technology

GATE RESULTS
- GATE result will be in the form of a percentile Score. If the total number of candidates in a paper is 100, and the number of candidates who have secured marks less than the candidates is say, 80 then the percentile score of the candidates is (80/100)*100=80.
- GATE score is valid for two years
